MEASURE · MARK · BUILD

Layout math you can actually use at the project.

MeasureMarks turns project dimensions into visual layouts, practical tape-measure marks, a phone-friendly Field Mode, and printable job sheets.

THE STORY BEHIND THE TOOLS

Built by a guy who'd rather be doing literally anything else.

Meet Brad: IT guy, reluctant DIYer, and unpaid general contractor to Natasha, whose home-improvement ideas apparently never end. MeasureMarks was born from 20 years of projects, a pathological aversion to contractor invoices, and way too many trips to Lowe's.

FROM MEASUREMENT TO MARK

More than a number on a calculator.

01 · DESIGN

Use the dimensions you actually have

Enter the real wall, opening, room, door, deck, or project dimensions instead of forcing the job into a generic formula.

02 · VERIFY

See a measured blueprint

Dimension arrows, scaled project drawings, clear gaps, coordinates, and edge conditions make the math easy to sanity-check.

03 · BUILD

Print it or take Field Mode with you

Use a printable job sheet at the bench or step through one tape-measure mark at a time on your phone.

THE MEASUREMARKS WORKFLOW

From rough dimensions to a job-site blueprint.

1. Measure the project

Use the finished dimensions that matter: clear openings, real board widths, frame sizes, fixture diameters, hardware offsets, or room dimensions.

→
2. Review the visual layout

MeasureMarks maps the result as a scaled drawing with dimension callouts, mark locations, gaps, cuts, or X/Y coordinates.

→
3. Build from one reference

Print the measured job sheet or use Field Mode so every mark is taken from the same starting edge.

FIELD MODE

Built for the moment you are holding a tape measure.

Field Mode shows one measurement at a time in giant type on your phone or tablet. Hook your tape at the same starting edge, make the mark, tap Next, and keep moving. On a computer, print the same layout as a clean job sheet.

WHY MEASUREMARKS

Project-specific layout tools for real DIY work.

Most calculators stop after producing a number. MeasureMarks is designed around the next step: transferring that math to a wall, rail, ceiling, cabinet door, deck, or workpiece. The goal is a layout you can inspect visually, print, and actually build from.
