1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using MeasureMarks, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

2. Permitted use

You may use MeasureMarks for lawful personal, educational, and commercial project-planning purposes. You are responsible for the measurements you enter and for verifying the resulting plan before cutting, drilling, fastening, wiring, or constructing anything.

3. Prohibited use

You may not misuse the site, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, use the site to violate law or third-party rights, or use automated systems in a manner that materially burdens the service.

You may not systematically scrape, copy, mirror, republish, sell, or create a competing database from MeasureMarks content, calculator interfaces, drawings, or site materials without written permission. Ordinary search-engine indexing and reasonable linking are permitted.

4. Intellectual property

MeasureMarks branding, original site text, interface designs, calculator presentation, graphics, and other original site materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of those materials to you.

You may print or save plans generated from your own project inputs for your own project use.

5. Calculator results and project safety

MeasureMarks provides planning aids, not professional engineering, architectural, electrical, code, legal, or construction advice. Results may be affected by measurement error, rounding, project conditions, product requirements, local building codes, manufacturer instructions, or other factors.

Always verify critical dimensions and applicable code requirements before beginning work. Where safety, structural integrity, electrical systems, permits, or code compliance are involved, consult an appropriately qualified professional or authority.

6. No warranties

MeasureMarks is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, availability, or non-infringement to the fullest extent permitted by law.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MeasureMarks and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for losses arising from reliance on calculator results, project plans, site interruptions, or third-party services.

8. Third-party services and advertising

The site may display third-party advertising and link to third-party websites or services. MeasureMarks does not control and is not responsible for those third parties, their content, products, or privacy practices.

9. Changes and availability

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue site features at any time. We may also update these Terms. Continued use after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws of the United States and the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where the site operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
